 2/1   2/1    Conserve Wildlife Presents Bobcats at Cape May City Public Library 
Learn about New Jersey's Elusive Hunter: The Bobcat with Conserve Wildlife Foundation Executive Director David Wheeler. By the 1960's, bobcats were virtually extinct in New Jersey due to habitat loss and hunting. Restoration projects in the late 70's and early 80's led to the reintroduction of 24 bobcats back into the state, with the hope of monitoring the population over the years as it established a breeding and stable population. Today, they are New Jersey's only remaining wild cat and listed as one of New Jersey's endangered species.6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Join your neighbors and friends for a free family movie. This beautifully filmed, empowering documentary combines themes of a father's love and support for this daughter along with the importance and beauty of nature. A thirteen-year-old girl's dreams take flight in this magical movie starring a golden eagle. The movie is well suited for children as well as adults. Free pizza will be offered at 6 pm. Before the movie, Dr. Trish Miller will give a kid-friendly presentation about the ecology, behavior, natural history, and conservation of golden eagles. Dr. Miller and her husband, Mike Lanzone, have been studying this enigmatic bird in eastern North America for over a decade. The movie is rated G. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
